The last roll of Kodachrome

They stopped manufacturing Kodachrome in 2009; Flavorwire offers a glimpse at some of the 36 images from the last roll of Kodachrome ever produced. Steve McCurry, of "Afghan Girl" fame, offers gorgeous portraits from India, as well as a shot of Grand Central Station (at right) touched by quiet magic. The final shot on the roll is from a cemetery in Parsons, Kansas, the town where the film used to be manufactured: it's a rather touching tribute to the end of an era
