Read Between the Lines exhibit collaboration between Cancer Lifeline and Northwest Collage Society

One of my favorite Northwest Collage Society shows springs from a collaboration with the nonprofit Cancer Lifeline. They run writing groups to support patients through their illnesses, and every so often our groups link up, and us collage makers make new work inspired by CL members’ words. My piece this year, Grateful every day, was inspired by a piece of free verse by Dabney, enumerating little things every day for 40 days that made life better. Thrilled to be part of the show, which runs through December 1 at Seattle’s Dorothy O’Brien Center.
