In this project, against the backdrop of the proliferation of generative AI art, I sought to highlight the inherent creative quality of collage and analog work. I made a large, abstract collage composed of text scraps, and in ensuing days consulted the initial work to derive prompts that would spark new collage art for 99 subsequent days. While machines may augment artists, this project demonstrates the capacity for art itself to be not only problem but solution and an endless font of inspiration.
